_malienist_ Vishal Thakur has worked in the InfoSec industry for many years in hands-on technical roles. Currently he works as a part of the Global Salesforce Strategic Response and Research Unit, specialising in Incident Response with a heavy focus on Emerging Threats, Malware Analysis and Research. Before that, he was a part of the CSIRT for Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Vishal is also the founder of Hack.Sydney and founding director of Security BSides Conference at Sydney Australia. Vishal regularly conducts training sessions globally and presents research at international security conferences.
